I wake up and I’m already exhausted.

I don’t wake because of the shakes or the twitches I’m just used to those now but there’s sometimes you just get a spasm that cramps you up so badly you wake up from it medication and all.

Chapter 3

I’m looking at that first text message and I can’t breathe…I can’t think…I can’t breathe…

“Kelly!!!” It comes out a scream, a shriek of pure denial and fear and desperation and I blank out.

Everything I’ve help sacred to my heart for over half my life is gone. The void is huge and it swallows me without so much as a fight.

I wake up and I hurt.
My heart…
Oh god my heart…

Nothing is supposed to hurt like this is it?

Its grey here, England…of course it’s grey, goddamned fog.

“Oh, I wish I knew if you meant that, or if the geas is making you say it...”

I have highlighted the major bits of my college years, but I have to back track a little and tell of some of my experiences when I lived in the college dorms.

To begin with I had to fight my whole Senior year of High School to be able to live in the dorms. I lived within the 10 mile radius and the college was denying me the right to live on campus because of that. Meanwhile they also guaranteed Freshmen housing. See the conundrum.

There was still one more shot I had to fire. "Maze," I ventured, "Do you think this Chrissie might be a gold digger?"

"I dunno," she replied, and I could almost see her shrug. "I guess she'd *have* to be to put up with my dad. But anyway, she's good for him. He's not as much of an asshole when she's around. I think they might get married."

I sure wasn't going to tell Ida that last bit of news!

Into the jaws of death the Knight rode. Before him, the early morning fog lingered over the burnt remains of the entrance to the vale. There no signs that once a village had prospered within those borders.

Hey everyone! Here's my first post to topshelf and I just wanted to make it short.

The first line to this poem has been bouncing around my head for a few days and I just decided to go with the flow and see where it left me.

Clawed and clawed 'till fingers bare
This costume which I seem to wear,
Myself I hide in darkness deep

Synopsis:   Jessica had a feeling that something bad was going to happen, and on the day of her father’s funeral that fear turned out to be justified. A run in with her Uncle James resulted in Jessica being assaulted and unconscious.

"I don't believe you!" Edmund said with a snort. Drea looked at Susan and Peter; both just shrugged their shoulders before Peter added,

"Now don't tease Andrea that way. Maybe she's just found a nice way to play to wile away the boredom!"

"Nonsense," Susan snapped. "She's always off crying somewhere. I just don't understand. At least come and play our games, Andrea. You needn't be such a spoil-sport."

"But it's real. I met so many wonderful people there." Drea put her head down and would have sobbed but for the gentle hand that squeezed her shoulder.
