‘Chrissy where on earth did that come from? Who would say that? Why would you think that?’

‘Well it is just that my family and I were talking about Aunt Judith, my dad and Darren Harper, your dad. We saw somewhere that he had three children and you know that we’d all been wondering if I was his child too.’

Garia tries out her new training gear with mixed results. A visit to Parrel's workshop in the afternoon includes mention of toilet paper, blast furnaces, glue and canals!

Charlie.

Not Chuck, never Chuck, not Chucky Not Charles in Charge either and definitely, definitely not Charlotte.

I’ve hated being Charlotte ever since I was four, yeah four when my cousins showed me what I’d never have. How he was better than me because I was just a girl. I beat him up, smacked him with my GI-JOE twelve inch action figure. (It was Snake eyes, because he always kicks ass.) I got into trouble but that day didn’t just stick with me. It was just the first crack in my wall.

As I sit in the woods on a cold fall day.
I watch the wind blow as the leaves on the trees fall.
I ask myself, is there a reason I am this way.
Would I be better off dead?
I have tried for way to long.
I have cried and cried and the tears are all gone.
As the sky grows dark and my anger builds.
I find being dead would be a thrill.
Please help me lord, I cried one time.
I head back home no longer afraid for the end was not to be on this day.
I have too many friends that would be sad if I went away.
As I enter my house, there my parents stood ready to give me a hug.

So there we were, rolling West once more. Eric had bitten the bullet and hired a car, which I hated to admit made life easier.
