Exciting week

for yours truly and the Gabfen!

The big news of course is that the first instalment of the 29th Gaby book, Changing Lives, is now available on Kindle. It has been best part of two years since book 28 hit the shelves so i know some of you have been waiting patiently for this moment, or not! I will be cracking on with the writing next week, the spaghetti of storylines seems to grow with every sentence which makes the writing experience 'interesting' to say the least as i try to keep up with what is going on for each character, not just the wunderkind!

So what else has been going on? Well Monday actually started with a walk, for Chrimbo gifts believe it or not, i did a little grocery shopping on the way back before hitting the keyboard for some seven hours to firstly complete the writing then prepare the files to upload to Kindle.

Tuesday, a mostly dry but breezy example of the 24 hour period, saw me taking a largely off road route down to Clevedon for a mucky burger lunch. The return was at least partly moving air assisted, again with a large component of not highway riding, the 800m of up spread over just shy of 80km was quite enjoyable. It would be nice to share some of these rides with others but finding anyone to go out for 5-6 hours at @ 20kph average, on weekdays, is nigh on impossible! When i look at my comtemporaries efforts, none of them want to ride as far as i do and certainly not for as long - either that or they want to blast around at race speeds for an hour - heck it takes me thirty minutes to get warmed up!

Anyway, that brings us to today, a damp, miserable excuse of a day, the wet enough to make any external excursion damp but never raining properly. Hmm, i might get some more writing done i guess. Tomorrow and through into the weekend i'm catching a lift with Aunty Bev northwards for a flying visit to Sheffield, primarily to collect some stuff including Foxy who i left there back in September. Not entirely sure when the return will be or what i'll actually be doing, there is stuff i'd like to do including a bike ride, but whether i will get the chance, i don't know at this juncture.

Just a warning then, that Sunday's post may not be on schedule or at all, i will try to let you know when i do!
