yep, it's the UK's annual firework to celebrate a failure!

Outside i can hear more ordnance being set off than the total deployed on D Day, the enthusiasm of folk to continue this 400+ year old custom never fails to amaze me.

So what else is going on this week? well after a quiet Monday, Tuesday saw me out for a ride, only 58km but it was a ride. Then today i've mostly been writing a new Gaby chapter, now up on Patreon, followed by cooking Turkey Rogan Josh pretty much from scratch. There's something pleasing about cooking stuff like this - and it tasted mighty fine too!

Looking forward, Sunday is Remembrance Day, aka Poppy Day, the day Commonwealth countries honour the dead and injured of conflicts over the last 110 years. We will remember them.
