is no longer melting!
Well it never really was - 1976 it is not! (for those under 55 and not from the UK, that was the year of the long hot summer, weeks of 25c+ and no rain for 6 months) Anyhow after several days into the low 30's c, its starting to lose some of the ferocity and we've got a bit of air movement so it's much more comfortable.
I have been out, short walk Monday, about 45km on the bike yesterday and an 8km walk today but the heat and humidity haven't been conducive to much physical effort. Even the few hours of darkness have failed to offer much relief, temperatures staying close to 20c each night - sticky!
