Hard to believe that sixty years ago today.
Space the final frontier…
Was first said on tv.
This spawned countless tv shows, movies and is still ongoing.
Without it I doubt many other science fiction tv shows and movies would have come around.
At that time it was crime dramas/ country western that was the main stay.
Secret agents, police shows, comedy shows..usually with a set defined good guy vs bad guy.
The seventies opened up with much different movies and the old shows declined.
I can’t help but think that that one show changed the course of history in ways we haven’t even begun to see yet.
Hope is something everyone yearns for all their lives.
