I had the same problem on Thanksgiving. Alone, bored, having just had ramen for thanksgiving and generally feeling sorry for myself... I just needed some human contact.

And there was nobody at the chatroom here, so I clicked the thing under the purple TRANSPULSE bar on the right side of the page that says LIVE CHAT and in a few minutes was in a very lively chatroom. They were nobody I knew and they seemed to be a lot of younger people escaping the Thanksgiving weirdness with their families downstairs but they were transgender---both MtF and FtM---and I felt right at home.

If you're ever in a bad place and just need to chat I highly recommend it.
(They also have a suicide counselling if you're in a really bad place,
but luckily I've never had to log onto that one...)

Hi, I'm Talia, I'm not sitting there monitoring the room, but I do check it from time to time. I noticed today that seven people signed on, but left either immediately, or with in a minute or two. If they had stayed signed in for say an hour, they could have had a nice chat going among themselves! If you type in the nick of someone signed on, it will most times send a notification to that person that their nickname was mentioned. Hugs, Talia
