I believe the distance mentioned there was Cleveland to Cincinnati?
Personally I thought the movie was derogatory about transgender even though transgender wasn't really tripping in the news much at that time.
It would take a really bad makeup error to make any trans look any worse than some GG I have known. And that isn't a slam against genetic women. It's just some get dealt a very bad hand in life just like men do.
