I've just received a comment on one of my story posts, and its nothing more than a spam advert. Any way of getting rid of it? The person who posted it decided to remain anonymous, of all things.

Spambots
Spambots strike the site all the time. Erin, Piper and co. do their best but some still get through.
Send a message to Erin including, if you can, the URL of the comment so she can find it. She'll give it what it deserves.
Penny
Dogs have owners; cats have staff. Grand-daughters have minions.
The author did put their name
The author did put their name in the link above the post. Might not be them though. Sent a message with the URL for my story. If she scrolls to the bottom, she should find it.
there are some ways to stop them
Stopping spam bots is always a struggle, the dual methods that are most effective [ especially combined ] no anonymous comments allow and the dreaded captcha images.
Stupidity is a capital offense. A summary not indictable.
captcha
I find a lot of captcha images unreadable, not all but more often then not. I often fail entering them and have to keep trying repeatedly, or keep hitting the show me another one until I get one I can make out.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Do more readable ones make them less against bots effective?
