As I said, looking for an old story. Can not remember the author. :( The Title is "Vertigo". ): Remember that at least. That is not impressive.
Sorry
As Clint Eastwood would say, "That's enough of THAT".
Could not tell you the author of this blog.

Vertigo
I can’t recall a specific story called Vertigo, sorry, but there are a few books with that title on Amazon. Not very many, so it won’t take too long to have a read of the synopsis of each of them to see if they ring any bells?
"Search" from Home Page
came up empty, so you can skip that.
A few other "probes" into BCTS also came up empty.
Sigh. For me, I'll need more to go on. Events, characters, settings, transformation means (current medical, magic, marvelous machine, aliens ...)
Hoping you can remember more clues.
Good luck!
Wasn't it the title of a Hitchcock movie?
Starring James Stewart?
Angharad
The Wayback's No Help...
http://bigclosetr.us/topshelf/alphastories/v/page=2 was never copied (page=1 was saved once, back in 2015, and Saless's Venus Cursed chapters pushed everything lower off page 1).
And Storysite's search function no longer works.
