It's 1 AM and I am up to my typical foolishness and read about the ridiculous density of the Martian atmosphere, which is less than 1% of Earths. Not being an Engineer of any sort, I simply rely on my vivid imagination.

Were it even possible, a plane or a glider capable of any sort of flight there. Hmmm. Perhaps an angel capable of living on dusty carbon dioxide.

Just a thought. It might be a fun read if someone were able ....

Having just been firmly rebuffed by Microsoft after they completely disabled MS Word. This finally pushed me to cautiously approach downloading LibreOffice. I think I did it and while fumbling around MAY have done so a few times.

After being on the patches for around 20 years, suddenly I have a rash at the site of application. It was painful enough that I do not plan to use them again. I do not know if the patches caused all this. They are marketed by MYLAN. com through the local VA.

I am not mobile enough to feel like goin up there to the Portland, Oregon VA to complain in person. Phone and email to them are a joke!

I'm thankful that they gave me average size breasts. :)

I am not sure what is going on...I tried to sign on to MS Word to work on a new short story today. I got blocked by "them" and figured that it was time to pay some money. I try to deal only with those online entities where the transaction is easy and seamless. The rest only get CASH.

I may have already shot myself in the foot. They wanted my address, and phone number and kept sending me verification codes until stopped suffering the fools. I may have to make a trip to my bank, only 1-2 miles away to get it sorted.

I should have gotten used to this by now...I follow a female adventure motorbike rider with 2.5 million followers who now has a brand new book out, two versions, one in Dutch and one in English. (FREE RIDE) She has been signing books all over the UK, and has plans to eventually go to America, before or after Japan and who knows where else. Don't know if the book will be translated to more languages.

Several of us live in a nonprofit apartment building across the street from the local ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) building. They lease ICE the building from a local resident. About 1:45 AM 6/26/2025 I was wakened to banging on the door of my apartment on the 4th floor. I do not know where in the building the other almost half dozen of us live.

Apparently the angry demonstrations are taking place all over America, and who knows where else? I am of two minds about it all and my PTSD is really rearing its head. Not getting much sleep. Arthritis or Fibromyalgia is really being painful.

I worry that my legally adopted daughter has or will be deported back to Korea. I have lost track of her.

I have no idea why this happens to me. My mind keeps returning to the story in the most troubling way. I like the 3rd chapter rescue the best. I think about reading it again, often. The protagonist gets a reasonably happy outcome. Many of the best, not so much.

In this new manifestation I have a half dozen stories in the rough draft stage. The largest, "Forced 3" keeps changing like a snake with its head cut off.

I do not know what will eventually happen. Is it Dementia? Who knows.

Two men were arguing loudly on the Street Car and I'd had enough. I turned to the one sitting by me, who was the loudest and said to him, "Take it back a notch will you". He turned to me and got right IN my face and said "Why don't you hit me?" So I gave him an elbow in the face and he started squawking like a little girl. The driver said for us to get off the train and I did. The one who caused the problem was fighting with the driver when I left.

There are a number of very good stories that have gone to Patreon. I did try to pay Patreon but for some reason, my bank takes exception to their charges. The people at the main branch are fine but their "Loss Prevention" folk are awful to deal with. I'm on my 4th Debit Card in as many months. I wonder if there is a way to open an account at BCTS to pay for the various stories. OR... if those stories will ever go to Amazon Kindle??? I am not making demands here, just trying to work something out.

I just discovered that at Amazon I can specify "Made in Canada Only" products. So to test I bought some cookies.
