For all of you ladies and gentlemen who are in the states crushing transgender lives, you need to be ahead of the threat. I've mentioned before one may get a Colorado driver's license with requested gender on it. If pushed I would take out a PO address in Colorado for a residence and apply for a license transfer from Oklahoma to Colorado. Personally I strongly believe Oklahoma and several other states to follow Kansas in invalidating trans license, making us non citizens.
Hopefully the other states won't go so far as making invalidation retroactive but be prepared. There are other states accepting transgender other than Colorado. Do your research if one has to give up their DL because of the transgender hatred permeating this nation.

New York State allowed me to change…….
Both my name and gender on my license. It did require a court order to change my name (which was simply a matter of having the proper forms prepared and submitted to the court, whereupon the judge ruled accordingly, and then publishing the change in the local newspaper), but all that was required for the gender change was proof that I was under a doctor’s care for gender dysphoria. There is a form letter which my endocrinologist (who just happens to be the head of the department of endocrinology at Albany Med) provided me, which allowed me to change my driver’s license, my social security records, my birth certificate (I was born in California), and subsequently my passport as well. My medical records have also been updated accordingly.
My driver’s license and passport both show female.
One quick word - if you do feel the need to change, make sure that your license is “Real ID” compliant.
And it looks like I can do another state to the list of places I will no longer be visiting…….

I live in Colorado
We have an amazing law in Colorado called Jude's Law that I testified in favor in 2019 which included court orders for changing out of state birth certificates which took effect Jan 1, 2020. I used Jude's Law (named for a transgirl who along with her mother testified for 5 years before the Republicans Kill Committee in one branch of our legislature until it passed under complete control of the legislature by Democrats.) to get a court order to change my GA birth certificate. However, to take advantage of Colorado's great laws for transgender individuals, you must prove actual Colorado residency via a real place that you live instead of a P.O. Box.
I'm sorry for bursting your bubble on that but come to Colorado and live. It's a great place full of wonder and caring people in state government. We have One Colorado which is a organization which lobbies for the rights of Transgender Coloradans. I'm very happy here after moving from Atlanta GA in 2015 and I hope you would be too.

Times Have Changed
I haven't kept up with what it takes to change a driver's license when working in another state. Let's say back in the dark ages all I had to do to get a DL in the state I was working in was hand in my current license. It's been twenty years since I looked to doing the same in Colorado and yes I am wrong. It now takes a real residence to switch licenses. Working professionally on commercial projects in many states no longer qualifies. Job site address no longer accepted.
Checked with CA as they are handing out DL to illegal aliens, same thing, need a residence. This world is so messed up. I'm checking off world tickets with true aliens. Sanity has to be better out among the stars than here. Thus rent a physical address, postal address to qualify as residence.

I really do NOT want to change all my professional licenses, government IDs. I am deeply embedded professionally and historically, locally, state, federal gov, and in the national military reserve data base, along with a court judgement, I am Barbie Jean Lee, F. However all it takes is Gov Stitt and or Trump to negate my life with a stroke of the pen. Each one driven to erase transgender because of a hatred and lack of understanding what transgender is. It isn't a desire or a choice. As God made male and female He also created a great diversity between. There are those like Stitt and Trump who wish to erase God's diversity and it will never happen. The physical proof of the diversity is in Chimera (two different DNA same body) intersex (xxy), different brain development in MtF and FtM, physical deformities and missing limbs in new born. Yet there are those who insist only perfect F and perfect M are acceptable. Sadly some of those people are in positions of power. This is a future I don't want to be a part of.
