Well, I had an adventurous night. Went to bed early, then was woken out of a sound sleep by the sirens a bit after Midnight. Very windy. Stayed up about an hour and a half, mostly watching Weather Underground on TV, and trying to get the weather radar on my phone to show current conditions. Things got quiet again and I went back to bed. Thunder finally started sounding in the distance. Still sleepy.
Hope other members had things as easy as I did.

Weather was Pretty Wild in Upper Midwest Too
Wind gusts to 50 MPH plus Sunday followed by rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow made for nasty conditions this Monday.
My sister got off to work okay.
Shoveling was no fun.
But banks rarely close due to weather.
Hope everyone is safe.
Bad weather over much of the US.

Sand Storm
Would love some moisture of any kind, rain, snow, even some hail just for the moisture. Took several pics. It's close to a hundred yards to I-40. Couldn't see a single vehicle on the interstate as the sandstorm blocked out everything in all directions. Old farmhouse and it leaks. Shook all the sand off the bed before crawling under the covers last night. Growing up this was a normal occurrence with the big clouds of black coming in from the NW. Thankfully this dust storm was local instead of originating our of Kansas and Colorado.
Hugs Stickmaker, Praying for rain.

There's a weird addendum. I
There's a weird addendum. I was explaining to the clerk at Staples why I was so sleepy. The guy behind me said "Yeah, those sirens woke me up, too. What did they mean, anyway?"
Just passing through...
