 Harmonic Distortion

Something I'm working on sporadically. A little blurb about the book I've got sitting on the back burner:

Jason "Jace" McCormick has spent four years building something real — a band, a bus, a life that runs on music and loyalty and the quiet acceptance that punk and emo don't make stadium acts anymore. He's made peace with his ceiling. Mostly.

Then a night he can barely remember leaves him with something he can't explain: lost time, evidence of a life being lived in his body without his knowledge, and a woman named Joss who has his eyes, his memories, and absolutely none of his reservations about using them.

As the full moons stack up and Joss grows more insistent, Jace finds himself navigating a curse with no clean explanation, a mythology professor who isn't surprised by anything, a god who has some explaining to do, and the creeping realization that the ambition he buried out of loyalty to his band didn't disappear. It just found another way out.

Happy May Day and/or Beltaine everyone!
