We've had to turn on defensive mode with our firewall because we've been getting as many as 400,000 hits a minute.
They usually tire over a few hours and go back to ignoring us but for now, we raised the fences to keep them out.
This means you may have to answer a question from Cloudflare to get in.
Hugs,
Erin

We're getting slammed
Hi Erin, I figured as much when the check in's started. I had figured that the reich wing haters & crazies would have been doing DDOS & phishing attacks a long time ago. Do what you need to do to keep safe. We'll be here, stand strong.

In a just world
You would be able sue to for an illegal taking or ignoring the robots.txt file causing monetary harm. instead, we get every techbro wannabe with a hair up their ass starting an "AI" business scraping everything in sight. Then there are the botnets that the providers won't shut down, Would love a law making people and companies liable for their shitty software/hardware that enable these botnets. While we're on wishes, someone should have a site like "AmIaBOT."whatever that shows if your IP is associated any botnets and git the courts, all the down to small claims court, the ability to order a shutdown your stupid piece of Botdom as an accessory. /rantoff
Anyway, thank you BC Staff for keeping us informed and the lights on here
