It's not the distinctions of gender, race, religion and nationality that is the problem. It's misusing the distinctions to divide people into us and them.

If we saw difference as something to be celebrated instead of hated so much would be changed. Nothing will be changed as the current Cis-Het-White supremacy is in charge though. That needs to be destroyed first.

It's exceedingly unlikely
It's exceedingly unlikely that we will _ever_ be able to do so. The phrase "You can't judge a book by its cover" may be true with books, but the problem is that we, as predators (or animals in general) are built around instant visual and aural judgements. Is it something to eat, to mate with, or run away from are the three main categories built into animals. Think of it as being "IFF" - Friend or Foe. "Is this familiar to me, and thus not a threat, or is it unknown to me, thus being a threat?"
It's a -BAD- idea to try to get rid of that behaviour. There's a reason it's a survival characteristic, and you shouldn't go monkeying with those (even if they figure out how) unless you _know_ it's never going to be needed again.
The best we can do is be aware of it, and adjust accordingly.
I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.
You Beat Me To It
We are hard-wired to notice these differences, and there isn't a thing we can do about it. People who come out with statements such as 'I don't see colour' are simply not telling the truth.
But our brains have evolved to such a degree that we can be aware of our in-built prejudices and recognise that we have sufficient freedom from our primitive instincts to overcome them.
It's not what you think, it's how you act.
