Proofreading help needed

Author:

Well I'm dyslexic and writing something that somebody else can understand is always the biggest problem I've had. The biggest problem I have is what I write down I believe means one thing and other people interpret it it's something completely different. It will probably need a lot of work. I intend to publish it here And if you want I will acknowledge your help.

The shortest story I'm asking you to help me with is about 2000 words long With a Prologue and epilog To boot. It is a TG story about a boy that makes a choice in a different universe to Hours.

Missing my next dose of Lee and Darby…….

It’s been three years since Daring Diane published her last Cheerleader book, and I am seriously jonesing for the next book in the series.

The last book left us waiting to see what happened with Lee’s latest innovations in competition cheerleading, the sorority, baseball - both the college team and the Detroit Tigers, Lee’s newly found grandmother and her family business, the National Cheerleading Association, and of course the relationship between Lee and Darby. So many unfinished plot lines - not all of which I have included here!

Please leave a comment and let the author know that you liked the story and want to see it continued.

EHRC rules - UK bathrooms etc

Following on from Leeanna's posting: The new guidelines, which are set to cause much grief for those of us in the UK have been placed before Parliament for their approval.

There is a mechanism in our Parliament called an "Early Day Motion" - in itself it will not decide anything or even force debate, it is more like a survey or petition MPs can sign up to. However, if it gets enough support that might help it get debate time which could possibly change things.

Just another reason I am glad I never changed…….

My permanent residence. Even though I spent decades away from home, first in the service, and then later spending about 80% of my time traveling for work after leaving active duty, I kept my permanent residence in the Capital/Saratoga Region of New York State. This includes spending the last eight years of my professional career maintaining a residence in either Pennsylvania or South Carolina, I still never changed my legal residence from New York State. There have always been too many legal reasons to remain a New York State resident.

Computer Crash

My computer crashed. I was using it as usual and I was interrupted by a popup informing me that my device encountered a problem and needed to restart. I had three windows open at the time. It proceeded to restart and never came back. I'm currently on a backup computer and have no access to word processor or the files produced by it..

So I'm reduced to lurking and the occasional comment or blog entry.

His Department of Education, a misnomer if ever there was one (especially in light of who he chose as his Secretary of Education), has apparently opened an investigation into whether or not Smith College has violated Title IX by admitting transgender women.

On this day, while people are walking around saying, “May the fourth be with you,”…….

Perhaps we should rather be reminding people that on this day in 1970, some 56 years ago, 4 college students were killed and nine wounded at Kent State University in Ohio while protesting the US involvement in the Vietnam War. Members of the Ohio State National Guard discharged 67 rounds over 13 seconds into a crowd of unarmed protestors. Eight of the shooters were charged with depriving the students of their civil rights, but were later acquitted in a bench trial.

Is anyone else having a problem with a shrunken screen……

Author:

When I got online today, suddenly this site is displaying a shrunken version of the screen. It is roughly one third the size of the normal screen.

Any clue as to why this is happening? Is anyone else seeing the same thing? Any ideas on how to resolve the problem?

Trump administration loses again……..

Blog About:

The Trump administration has settled out of court after being sued by multiple organization over the removal of the Pride flag from Stonewall. The flag has been restored, and under the agreement it cannot be removed by any administration going forward for any reason other than maintenance.

Now all we need is to get the “T” and the “Q” restored to the historical references. They were also removed by the Trump administration due to the Orange Asshat’s executive order declaring that his administration recognizes only two genders, which are defined at birth.
