Where can I find an explaination, detailed if possible, of what all the stuff is under the "Activity Settings" header in My Account. I don't like settings I don't understand. What I want is to find out how to set that so nothing has changed from the way things were before.

Settings
Those settings controlled the interactions between relationships and status messages. Status messages have been turned off because they turned out to be huge resource hogs and no bacon. Relationships are still on but it does not seem like anyone is using them. I don't think those settings do anything at all now. Next time we get into tuning the system, they will probably go away.
