I noticed that "Random Solo" has suddenly appeared at the top of the LH column. I thought I had all of that turned off. Is there anyway of turning it off again?

You can turn it off in My Account the same way you turned it off before. I had to recreate the feature after it accidentally got deleted and I hadn't configured it to be turn offable until you reminded me. It should be on the list of blocks to be turned off/on now.
