As from midnight tonight, Penny and I will be sallying forth. A seven hour ferry is not exactly as exotic as "night boat to Cairo" but then that's the wrong country anyway, however the idea's sound.
I wanted to say "thank you" to all my friends out there and wish them along with everyone else, a nice quiet week while I'm gone.
You'll all have to get your "vacuous ramblings" out without me!

Nick. Remember the prudent approach is to buy only one chateau at a time. I know that quantity offers can be tempting and that you are going to have nothing else to do for a whole week, but try and put any such siren voices behind you.
And if you have any room in the boot on your return trip, could you possible bring me back a couple of cases of the local red. I will of course pay ..... eventually.

All those people who love trans fat in their cookies suffered a hydrogenated defeat when Oreos were reformulated to remove most of the trans fat.
Trans people can find some solace in the fact that Oreos still contain 55 calories each (without dipped milk).

That we ARE only going on holiday and it IS or rather will be, France, not Egypt.
Much as the idea of the Valley of the Kings appeals, there are few forests, Gallic shrugs or the need for berets, hooped jerseys and onion strings in Africa.

The French have sort of a pyramid, two of em that I know of. That Eiffel thingy is sort of one and a glass pyramid at the Louvre Place. Just don't lose your head over France like Marie.
