I've bought the download
I just bought the download from Lulu. I've read 20 pages so far and it looks very promising. No idea where the plot will lead but, that's Carmenica for you! I have the other two Alchemy stories and all Carmenica's other TG stories. I'm not into the other things she writes about.
These books are a rattling good read, with enough drama to keep you awake at night thinking about it. I've read each book several times and they are still riveting.
Can't say more than that.

I bought it the first night. I really like her stuff with the singular exception of the Annie Oakley one, which I found did not follow through well after a decent setup. This is one her more exotic efforts where the protagonist will have a cultural change, unlike her other efforts which have revolve mostly around Anglo characters throughout the work. I am no fan of Dom/Sub stuff also so I tend to avoid those efforts of hers as well.
The good news for all fans of the series is that it is ripe for a follow on as far as I can tell based on what she has said as well as how the story ended. I can hardly wait.

Avenging Annie is interesting – it seems readers are equally divided as to whether they love it or despise it! :) Have no idea why except, perhaps, the themes were a little subtle or not subtle enough!
Interestingly, have been approached to sell the rights for a film! Will, of course, believe it when the contract arrives in the mail! Been down that road before! If, by some miracle, the contract appears, will have to withdraw the book until they decide they can't make it into a film or the rights expires. :)

Hijacked domain
Yes, I know it's been 14 years, but I thought I'd warn anyone that sees this that the carmenicadiaz site, as of this time (April 2021) is a standard hijacked domain name that feeds through several AWS sites to try to do nasty things.
I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.
