So there is one chapter left to post in this story. I'm glad that people seem to like the story. For people who only wanted to dive into a completed story, I guess you can start it now or wait until next week to read the whole thing.

I like the last chapter, sets up a sequel but also has a few wonderful moments. It does tie things together nicely and lay out some of the directions the story can go from there.

The edits are moving slowly. Healing it taking a lot of my brain power but I am making progress. 6 chapters in and making sure that the world building is solid, and the Hands are more understandable as a military unit. There is a lot going into this and I think the story is really fun. My first drafts are always the bones and some of the meat, getting the fundamentals in before I expand on them in other drafts. This story feels strong and the fun PoV of both Asche and Nibs makes for a different way to tell a story. Hopefully I can get Tor, Baen, or DAW interested in publishing it. That would be great.
