On May 24 I posted my 100th story on BCTS, now here I am six months later posting 200.
I suppose that I owe all the other writers an apology for barfing at your party, but it just has to come out!
People may know that I am even more prolific on Fictionmania, but there it is more ideas than fully formed pieces. Here on BCTS I like to write real short stories, that paint a picture and invite the reader to see my image, and sometimes color it in a little themselves.

I know that Fictionmania has a less sophisticated reader than Big Closet, but this is the kind of thing that pisses me off:
Toni (a reviewer of a recent very short piece) says:
"Short stories (under 30kb) are such teasers. No substance."

Yet their other two stories on BC did not seem to be by Samantha Michelle.

Hi to everybody, and in particular senior topshelfers in this closet.
I have a story which I would like to post, but it has a series of images which have captions to them. I could post it as a pdf which I have done in the past with stories that have several images, but Erin tells me that I may be losing readers by doing that. I have tried going on line and using some code to place images right and left to try and wrap text, but it just does not come out right. Can anybody help me with formatting?

I was introduced to a new term today: TERF - an acronym for trans-exclusionary radical feminist.
It brought to mind a prior blog of mine called "Feminine Stereotypes" where I mentioned Janice Raymond who would certainly be one.
But it seems that TERFs are still about.
What gave rise to it was a debate on the message board at FM based on a condemnation of the author J.K.Rowling.

Has something happened, or is it just me?
I seem to be getting no feedback at all.
Unashamedly I cry out for it, but I am getting a lot of silence.
I have also contributed to a couple of blogs but I am not sure how they work.
Do they just die after a few hours? Or are the authors notified?
The recent one "Sigh, amateur (sic?) writers and laws" sparked my interest.
A big subject worthy of wider discussion but how do I know if my contribution mattered?

I have posted 68 stories on Big Closet Top Shelf.
This week Laika said of my collection: "Such variety in your stories ... It's like some crazy anthology show that while some variation on a transgender theme is always there, it otherwise doesn't stick to any one genre. One day it's twilight zone, Alfred Hitchcock Presents the next, then Love American Style or Death Valley Days."
Thank you Laika. As I said to her, that is just what I am trying to do.
But it did prompt me to look at what the readers on this site really like.

Yes, after over a year of posting on Fictionmania I have arrived at Big Closet!
Thanks to Chris at TransScripts for suggesting that there is a whole new audience here, and so it has proved to be.
