Thank you Andrea for this story! Even though the story is harsh and often painfull, so is reality. And it shows that even people who believe in the love and forgiveness of God (JHWH) often strugle with all to human emotions. And the emotional baggage of abuse, hate and loss is often very painfull for all those involved.

Especially in the last two chapters I see Restorative Justice in action! Unfortunately the normal criminal justice system tends to ignore the needs of the victims and the families and friends (especially in cases of murder), and fails to provide redemtion for the perpetrator. Though in both cases depicted here, the personal difficulties experienced in theyre personal lives had a profound bearing on the sentence pronounced by the respective judges.

This story is worthy of being published and distributed to a wider audience. Though readers should be advised to have tissues or hankies at the ready.
