Darkness is a friend, an ally. It allows us to be honest with ourselves, to express those values that we would disavow in the light. The light blinds us. It is only in the dark that we see clearly, and there is a great dark hidden among these worlds.

I've read a bit of Star Wars fiction

And this was far better than most of the published stuff. I also really like how you handle anti-heroes, both here and in Paradise of Fools. Seems like it must be more difficult to write, but you handle it wonderfully.

And it's incredibly nice to have a sense of conclusion to it all. Though at the same time I'm still hoping for more.
