Intriguing Story
I'm glad to see more of this intriguing story and can't help but wonder what the new Rod and Cissy are going to have to deal with, given the villainous Sweet clan! And it will be interesting to see what needing to be 'sorted out' will mean for our two lead characters. Never having been to the South I'm enjoying this little slice of life in the background you set the story too.
Good to see another chapter of this story Erin.

Thanks
I needed to take a break on writing comics after the con and this chapter was partly done. :)

Yay! Just needed Sorting.
LOL I'm happy to see more this magical hillbilly tale. Them Sweets sound like a mean bunch! Wonder if they need sorting too? LOL
Hugs!

Not sure they'd all fit in Cabin 5 :)
Though getting Susie Mack's personality into a younger body might be a hoot, she sounds like a piston, don't she? :)

Ozarks vs Crowley's Ridge
The Clampetts, according to the movie, are from the Ozarks, a bit to the west of where the Sortie Motel is located. According to the TV show, the Jed and his clan were from Tennessee. :) I'm from Crowley's Ridge myself, a bit to the north of where Sortie is supposed to be.

Don't We All?
Don't we all need sorting out? I do! I do!
It sounds like Cissy and Rod might be a bit confused about who they are and who they used to be. This is so much fun!
My eyes glazed over a little during the lengthy description of the Sweet clan but I'm still here. I can handle it.
I can't wait to see the meeting between Cissy and the magical trio. Please don't take so long between chapters! Please?
Thanks!

I'll try
My aim is to do a chapter every week or two. There are several more chapters to go.

Great descriptive writing...
Erin! Really well done. I picked this up mid-stream and am going to enjoy going back to the beginning.
Thanks!

Glad you enjoyed it
Being descriptive while using details to advance the story is one of the most difficult things to do in writing. It's easy to move things with dialog but much harder to do it with description. I had a lot of fun writing this, though if I ever turn this into a for pay book, I'll probably have to shorten it.

Partially Sorted
Erin,
It appears Rod and Sissy are partially sorted, but I think the Sweets have a long way to go in the sortin' out department. But if anyone can sort them out I'm sure it's you.
