This is certainly
This is certainly interesting and may become an awesome story.
The backround certainly doesn'T look very well for humanity. Some aliens raiding them with impunity... At least Rin got some revenge on them. Revenge is the duty of the weak and he'd do better getting a reputation of an avenger.
I wonder what he'll find in the tunnels... I guess the artifact you'd mentioned in the intro, which will probably make him a her :D
I can't wait for the next chapter...
Thank you for writing,
Beyogi
Hi Beyogi, I'm glad you
Hi Beyogi, I'm glad you found this story! Apologies for the delay in reply.
It's fair to say Rin will come out of the tunnels a little different! Hope you enjoy the next bit!
Well,
You sure got my interest. That first chapter kind of grabs you, shakes you, and demands to be followed up on, doesn't it?
I'll be waiting for the next chapter, and likely, the ones following.
Maggie
Hi Maggie
Hi Maggie, thanks for giving my story a try :)ihope I manage to get you as addicted to this story as I am to some of yours!
Great Start
Can't wait for the next chapter.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
Heya
Glad you enjoyed chapter 1, chapter2 wont be long, I am just having to reformat stuff a bit as I go along. I hope you still think I do good work in 30 chapters or so!
Good start it has grabbed my

Thanks Nikki
I hope you like how the story develops, be sure to let me know!
well
as maggie said. it has started off very good. while not a big fan of sci fi i do find a few that are interesting. this looks like it will be one of those. keep up the good work.

Not a sci fi fan?
OMG Not a sci fi fan? Shock, horror, lol.
I have read so much stuff over the years, some wonderful, some dire and all in between. One of the problems i had over the last few years was finding something I wanted to read, I would try an author, and then go nah. So I decided to have a go at writing something I wanted to read. Hopefully you will agree rj and we can convert you to say i am a sci fi fan- occasionally anyway...Cheers
Very nice begining!
The story quickly caught me up. The writing flows very well, the exposition worked in nicely. I like that you are lightly sketching in details as they are necessary (and will fill in more as needed).
We don't know much about Rin yet, but I approve of what we've seen. Young man making an effort to get out of a bad situation and try to improve himself, willing to take on challenges and gaining the respect of those around him. (Some unusual growth lies ahead for him though!)
I also like the fact that you flesh out the Dtilla, interesting antagonists make better stories!
Keep up the good work, I will definitely be following this story!
Thank you for sharing it with us.
Hi Brian
Thanks for reading and letting me know what you like. I don't know that I can claim to have a style of writing yet, but I want to give you enough to paint a picture in your head but not so much that every little thing slows stuff down. Hopefully it will give the story a good pace, at least that is what I am aiming for.
One of the things I am enjoying about writing my own universe is that I can change some of the rules around..I hope you find it a bit different.
Oh yes this is good
Great start - a realistic hero - some interesting antagonists and thoughtful internal dialogue.
I'm looking out for this one!
Hi Jenchris
Heya, I am glad you're enjoying it so far and want more. Interesting stuff can happen to the most unlikely people...or more accurately shit happens...lol
Woo Hoo!
Can't wait to read the next chapter!

Hi mate
Yeah I finally got up the courage to post some of the story, with a few amendments as I go. Gonna be a few chapters before we finish the chunk you got though, sorry mate. I will try and keep S12 on the go as well. Glad to W25 on th eboard as well. Great as always.
Excelent
Now, the tale can get very, very good or very bad depending on the artifact and/or technology found.
But you proved that you know how to writte action scenes. This is more than half of the fun.
Good news/ Bad News
Hi Eduardo, there is plenty of action to come I promise you so I hope you enjoy it. You got me really curiosu now as well, what would be good, and what would be bad? I look forward to your answer with a little trepidation considering I already have all that written lol. Thanks
Good Story....Bad button.
Great plot so far. Kept my interest throughout.
On another line, the Good Story button doesn't work.
Hi Peta
Thanks, I'm glad you like it so far. Don't know what to do about the good story button... did anyone else have problems? Why doesn't everyone who reads this comments click on the good story button....just to check its working of course...lol
This is nice
Glad I decided to give this a try ;)
I'm reminded of Andre Norton for some reason, which is odd because it doesn't really read like her, probably because she's the one I most associate with this type of setting. Anyway, well described, well thought out aliens, and a most untenable situation for our hero, who now has no option but to explore the cave system and hope for another exit; be nice if he could find his torch.
So, I'll be eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Hi JBM
Hi, I read Andre Norton in the past and enjoyed her books. I doubt I can hold that comparison for long but I will definitely try...sheesh no pressure...lol.
I hope you keep on coming back for more.
