Fanfiction
I usually don't like most fanfiction because usually they take the original characters in non-canon directions. Your story, however, uses the Star Wars universe with new characters and you have a VERY interesting start. Good journey, Cindy
Fanfiction
I agree, although sometimes it can be a lot of fun if done well. Normally I do something like this, write in the world but use my own characters. I'm glad your enjoying it so far.

I'm not a big fan of fan-fic, either, but this was a tasty tidbit. Might we have another serving?

Star Wars and fan fic
As a Star Wars fan I will look forward to reading additional chapters of this story even though the Old Republic is not my favorite era because this looks to be a nice story.
Star Wars is very easy to do fan fic for since this is a Universe that has had RPG sourcebooks for quite some time. In fact, I own most of the sourcebooks for the West End Games version of the Star Wars RPG system ( I can't stand the WotC abortion that they came out with after WEG went bankrupt.) I much prefer RPGing in the Empire/Rebellion and New Republic years over the Old Republic though. The people I used to game with said that I was very good at shopping on the Imperial Shopping Network (I captured an Imperial Star Destroyer with a platoon of former Imperial Spec Ops Troops all without rolling a single D6...) And if you are wondering, no, I did NOT expect that outcome.
Star Wars RPG
I own the Star Wars RPG books, the West End Games in a box someplace. I played a few times, fun game but mostly its been Video Games in the Star Wars universe for me. I ended up using the Old Republic time line, really because I have recently been played the MMORPG. Glad your liking the story.

Very interesting!
I've often thought the trailers to the various Old Republic games looked far more interesting than the so-called movies and features from Lucas' Empire.
In just the first chapter you've given us a character that is not quite the anti-hero, but more the tough cop willing to break the rules when he has too. As always you hit the characters right off the bat just right.
I had fun looking up the various ships, planets and gadgets on Wookiepedia, so I know you also really did your research.
Additionally, if for no other reason, your past writings have proved that it is always worth taking a look at your stuff. :)

Old Republic games
Most definitely, I was really impressed with the intro. (I have no idea what was in those crates, I'm innocent :) ) Illian should be an interested character, more shades of grey than anything else. His ideas of justice might not make members of the Republic happy but then again it might not make those of the Empire happy either.
I'm happy your liking the start, figured I'd stretch my legs a little in the Sci-Fi genre.
*hugs*

Unexpected...
But a plesant suprise. ^^
All Ive seen from you lately has been traditional fantasy stories, so this one kind of threw me for a loop. I've already read it twice, as I was inturpted the first time around, and I must say that I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Looking forward to seeing where this goes.
Peace be with you and Blessed be
Traditional fantasy stories
Very true, although I thought I would take the old Sci-fi Muse out for a bit of spin and see what the old girl can do. Glad you like the start, should be fun.

It´s good, but...
I don´t want to sound ungrateful, but I´d rather like to see another chapter of Beyond the pale or Sacrificial Boy. It´s good to have a new idea and write it down, although it even better idea to finish work already begun first.
Beyond the Pale & other stories
Oh no I understand, another chapter of Sacrificial Boy is on the way and I am starting Beyond the Pale right after. Sorry a bit to ADD to only work on one thing at a time :)

I'm as well, although I tend to write much more fantasy. Perhaps 2013 will be the year of Sci-Fi for me :)

Irony, thy name is ToR
I first found this story last night after logging off my Imperial Agent character so I could go to work. :D
I've been thinking of doing a ToR story with a TS twist for some time now so I'm pleased to see someone else on my wavelength here!
Imperial Agent
Funny, this actually came out of the blue. I was looking at writing a story for another Universe and this one leaped into my mind and said 'write me'. I'm glad your liking it so far.

Snerk. That line always meant someone was in deep trouble but just didn't really know it yet.
This is promising to be a very interesting tale, Elspeth.
Maggie
No Snerking allowed, Maggie. This is a non-snerking Republic

Nice fan fic with a clearly anti hero hero... I can imagiine a cross between a young Clint Eastwood and a young Harrison Ford. I assume our anti-hero is to beocme a heroine? I vote for a Lucy Lu look alike. Or maybe Lucy Lawless in her prime?

The wierd drugs, to change gender? Either to help the TG or all the better to sneak in and out agents and spies?
Hum?
Now does this doctor really exist? And why the suicide pill agents?
John in Wauwatosa
P.S. Solid start.

I like what I've read so far. Being a Star Wars kid I am definitely happy to see a story in the Star Wars universe. I look forward to more. So please keep giving us these great stories.
Thanks Mark.
Star Wars universe
I like the Star Wars universe as well, there is such a rich background. Of course its now all owned by Disney. So does that make Princess Lea a Disney Princess? I'm glad your liking the story.

I really liked this story. But I fear for the captains maleness. I hope his Twilek girlfriend is bisexual if this drug does what I think it does.
Thank you for writing this captivating story,
Beyogi
Twilek girlfriend
Thanks I'm glad your liking it so far. Its a fun Universe to write in. Thankfully Twilek's do tend to be rather pan-sexual in their outlook on the other races.

Intresting
Hope to see more.
I just started playing the game as an Imperial Agent, female of course!
I'll also make the same comment as others,
I often don't like fan fiction that messes with main cannon figures.
Bu then this does not seem to be one of those at all.
Immediate Continuity Problem:
The Sith Empire does NOT have a base on Coruscant, nor does Imperial Intelligence have a fully functioning outpost on the planet. It is a Republic world (the capital) and after the black eye from the Sacking of Coruscant, they have beefed up planetary security and sector patrols. So, for this agent to have his "homebase" on Coruscant is not possible. Also, it would have been on the side of impossible for him to have been recruited on the planet. Now, take him to neutral or contested worlds (like Nar Shadaa, Nal Hutta, Taris, etc.) and his chances of recruitment in a plausible manner increase exponentially.
That being said: color me intrigued. I'd like to see where you go with this... my raging lore beast rant aside. >.>
~ Danielle
Addendum: I've been playing the game since launch. I have several characters, one of which being a female Imperial Agent (I went Operative with her as she's my healer). I love the stories. They're all REALLY well done. xD
When I grow up...
...I want to be Mon Mothma!
