Becoming Dana
Korvette's was on rt22 in NJ in the 1960s. It was a good department store. Dana is doing well look forward to more.

...just down the highway from the Flagship Restaurant. Jean Shepherd likened Rt.22 to a river as the Flagship steamed its way up to Port Newark. I agree! Dana is doing well and I really like this story.

It'll be interesting how Dora and Maria handle what happens when Daniel reaches puberty and experiences, erm, developments he probably wasn't expecting... not to mention how they handle mum and dad when they notice he isn't developing as a boy should...
One question: how old is Daniel when these two chapters are taking place? The opening of chapter one states that on his twelfth birthday, his parents were present and he dreamed of when he was six - but given the description of the first dress-up event mentions him wearing a trainer bra, six years old would seem a little premature...
As the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, then only left-handers are in their right mind!
