best of Angharad. not that there was any doubt about that happening. Loved the ending. Monica is eventually going to be a Grandma. Kids galore in her future!

After so many years of giving out and denying her own needs, surely Monica has needed a while longer to let a little love come back. Even by your own very high standards this must be one of your best stories! I absolutely love it on all sorts of levels. Yes I am a sucker for happy endings, and also for people who do good deeds, and this has both in large supply. I LOVE the locations.. West Wales is one of my favourite parts of the world and like your wonderfully named Danny Ackroyd..if I were to have to hide it would be there..Lampeter or Tregaron or maybe Llandeilo..
And as for the plot..twists and turns..some wonderfully vile baddies and some fantastic friends...oh this story will live long in my memory. I really will re-read this in a few weeks..maybe on the beach at St David's... Hint hint to my better half...
