Memories
So if the merge didn’t happen does that mean she will never get any memories back. How are they going to fix this? jess and Michelle need to do something.
hugs :)

Not exactly..
The merge ‘started’ so there are some of Belle’s memories stuck in her head... It’s just that Steven’s are much much stronger, they just aren’t to connect to anything yet in her new reality for them to make sense... It’s one of the reasons, while her body is unfamiliar (her initial balance issues), that shes not completely freaking out...
Thank you so much for reading, and your comments Michelle :)

I know I’m weird. The fact that I’m trans is probably one of the more normal things about me.
Hooked again
Becca
You keep doing this to me getting me hooked and caught up in the story, already looking for chapter 5 to discovery what happens next.
Well done Girl well done,

Corrected rift?
It seems to me that the merge might just correct one of the ripples that was caused by developing early. She has a chance to make it up to her family, Kelly, and Banjo.
By not being a gay male, it appears that the family strife can be eliminated, but does she actually still like guys, or was the pregnancy forced on her? Without her memories past her real friends it'll be hard to figure out what all went wrong.
At least now that she's woken, she's got Stevens strength of character.
Not exactly
Right now, we only know of two actions by the ‘helpers’. The rogue one trying to influence Belle down her destructive path, and then there was Michelle shifting Steven... We will all find out later our nefarious friend has been meddling in a lot of other places...
There was a big hint in the 1st chapter about how Belle’s orientation will work out. It will hopefully explain a bit of her ‘using’ substances to try to numb herself from her actions... I just need to get the chapters out sooner... I’m trying though :)

“It means I’m ready to get started… I’m ready to go home.”
cool!
Mice and men and, others
There are four who need help in understanding the whys of the current situation. Jess and Michelle had seen a way to save Steven, Kelly and Ben. But someone of their kind stired the pot in a way which changed what Jess and Michelle first saw.
The doctor who told others about Belle needs to have a refresher course about keeping his mouth shut about a patient's personal life. If he does talk about a patient then he should constrain himself to only medical facts, and only medical facts out of range of the patient's hearing.
Jill wasn't completely truthful with Belle in telling her why she never told Belle the type of person she was before the accident. Her real reason was fear of Belle returning to that life, of losing the Belle Jill now sees.
A person doesn't travel the path Belle took unless there's something seriously bothering them. They are either trying to hide something or have discovered something which they strongly dislike. And instead of facing that something head on, they chose a way which keeps them from thinking about it. A way which causes more problems in the long run.
How are Megan and dad going to react when Belle goes home, and they see she isn't the same person they once knew? Will they accept this Belle and want to help her, or be too hurt from the past to want to help?
Others have feelings too.
