The last part seems so familiar, like one of my bad dreams.
Unless the next line is "Oh, I'm not Brian, I'm his cousin," and he actually is, I think we're in dreamland.

Now there's a new wrinkle... I can imagine a few ways this could resolve itself, but not sure I want to. I'm rather enjoying the story, and gonna keep my imagination out of it!

That Laura is Bryan, or vice vera, but if that were so, who died in the car - Bryan's twin brother? Oh this is getting weirder and weirder!! Can't wait for the next chapter!
