Great to see you pick up this story again
At this point, I wasn't expecting to ever see more of this story. I'm glad to see that you've returned to it. I've definitely enjoyed it up to now.

Thanks :)
I really enjoy writing these characters and hope to continue doing so for some time. :)

Getting Ahead Of Herself
She hasn't been fucked yet! That pleasure is still to come.
But...
But he's the guy who has the appointment to do it. :)

Pleasure?
Only if he's a decent lover. Or, at least, not a cruel man taking his due without concern for her comfort or pleasure. I'm reminded of an old movie where a just-married noble comes out of his marriage bedroom's balcony and displays the bloodied sheets to the cheering crowd. (I think it was about the Russian royals.)
We'll see
I think I've seen such a thing in more than one movie, maybe not on a balcony but the idea.
Gus may have seen the movie, too.

I seem to remember reading
that in some places during the Middle ages the couple did not spend the wedding night alone. That one or more maids were supposed to be present to make sure the marriage was consummated. Lets hope that doesnt happen here!
Worse than that
My reading indicates that some royal weddings had noble onlookers, not just maids.
Not likely to be a problem in Blodsey. :)

Welcome back
No complaints, but after a year and a half, I had to do some hurried revision.
Erin, even without your BCTS responsibilities this is story juggling. How on earth do you manage to keep so many balls in the air?
This instalment is reassurance that you have not forgotten those who follow Bian.
Best wishes
Dave
Not the half of it
I use water balloons full of dimestore goldfish. It's a slaughter but the neighborhood cats love me.
No, I haven't forgotten and it's pleasant to know you haven't either. Thanks for commenting.

Yay
I also missed this series. I really enjoyed it when you were able to get them out pretty regularly. The whole concept felt at once familiar and unique. I can't imagine how much research is needed for something like this. All the little asides that represent some deep knowledge dives aren't completely missed, just so you know. Thanks!
Some of the hardest
This story is some of the hardest writing I do but would you believe I decided to take a break from writing His Inconstant Desire to do this one?
Sorry about that, chief! H.I.D. will probably be next week and if I can, another Bian the week after that.

Bian;
Beyond hope that we would see another episode. Erin you've hit me in the happy place, thank you.

I'm glad that I'm getting such a reaction out of posting a new chapter. :)
You and the other commenters have put me in a happy place. Thanks.

Uh oh
“Ikk bint sich dunken mikke.” I am so fucked.
So she, as a former hetero guy, is attracted to this "pretty boy?" It sounds like some kind of magic is at work. Did her father have one of his wizard minions put a gease on her? Did the gods/goddesses do it? Inquiring minds want to know.
From the previous chapter, we see that most of the involuntary time travelers like being there. I think it would be worth it if I got de-aged, but I would miss technology. Of course, magic might partially make up for that.
Hints
She's had some uncomfortable moments with Rotgar but this is apparently something different.
But say someone had put a love spell on the original Alenna, could that have helped her make a decision to flee her world and find a substitute?

So Kelvan made enemies?
Kelvan is experiencing, much earlier, what others experienced when they too introduced what he's introduced. Only this time gunpowder isn't part of the equation. Yet.
Why is the new Alenna attracted to her husband to be? Well, it can't be because of a magic spell since Gus wasn't Alenna at the time a spell might have been used. So perhaps it was placed on the one she is to marry, and only geared to her.
Gus thinks he's screwed because Alenna's intended is in the city. But he was screwed the minute he saw the real Alenna and stepped into the fountain.
So, more to come, when? Or what timeline? Hopefully withdrawal symptoms aren't too severe this time.
Others have feelings too.
Owe no!!
Erin what happened? Please continue this story
