After weeks of having one of my long-distance friends and players in my D&D campaigns be missing, I've found out that she has passed from this life and into Heaven on July 11, 2025. Natalie Holman was a bright, wise and happy soul who was giving of love in all her interactions.
Obadyah D'vorah is Natalies Jewish name. She is into fairies and like to go by the name Shiran a lot when playing them. She was in the military and was a computer programmer. She is retired and she is in her late 60's with eyesight problems, rides Harley motorcycles, plays the guitar, follows several book series, has 2 cats that like biting her.
I can attribute my good fortune to have so many of the BCTS family as a long-distance part of my life to Melanie E. who was DM of the first D&D campaign (I played in it) on the BCTS discord. Sunshine started a biweekly campaign before Melanie E.'s campaign ended and I started my biweekly campaign after Melanie E.'s campaign ended.
It's been years from then to now and many players have played in the campaign since I started. All the past and present players mean so much to me where we value souls rather than shells. If it were not for my players, I would never have lasted as a first time DM at the beginning those many years ago.
It was one of my players, who knew Natalie better than I, that made the supreme effort to find the information about Natalie and made all the calls that finally led to our finding the death notice. Once before I had a player who disappeared, but we never had the fortune to ever find out what really happened to her.
Natalie was a devotee to the Jewish Faith so much that she was still learning Hebrew. She referred me to the best Hebrew primer and had offered to tutor me. I waited too late to take her up on the offer. From my interactions with Natalie, I know that she was filled with the Love of THE ONE and had a personal relationship.
This is why even though I miss Natalie so much and I'm grieving her passing. I also look forward to a reunion with her in Heaven. Not too soon because I have more books to write and publish. I have more sessions to DM. I have more people to come into my life to show the Love from THE ONE.
Natalie was a part of the family here at BCTS. I know I love her like a sister and know that she loved was loved in return by chosen family here.
I say Huzzah, Natalie Holman. We will never see her like on the earth! Blessings, Glory and Honor, Natalie!

Thank you for sharing and my heartfelt condolences too
I sincerely wish I had known Natalie a lot better than just as a fellow party member and and DnD player. I mourn her passage, yet I hope she is in a better place now, full of love, where she can be herself in every aspect. I really miss her characters antics, which I believe also showed quite a lot of her love and her bright and shining personality. May Natalie Holman rest in peace. Thank you Jo Dora Webster for sharing and thank you unnamed person, who moved heaven and hell to find out about her.
Blessings, Glory, Honour and Godspeed, Natalie.
