I want everyone to be ready in case Trump follows through with this. If one has dual citizenship make sure your other nation passport is up to date. If one only has U.S. passport and you travel, be ready in heart and courage to apply for passage through scrutiny. Years ago friends have told me some truly funny stories about passing through security when their appearance didn't match their passport. If it happens to you treat it as a cosmic joke life has a twisted sense of humor.
Trump Admin Quietly Changes State Department Page To Indicate It May Invalidate Trans Passports The change comes after the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the administration and lifted a temporary injunction.

In my case it was for identification and to get my military ID changed. They needed gov docs before they would permit a change on my ID. Ir seems I was only a couple years ahead of all this and extremely fortunate to get my driver's lic, passport, and all other gov docs changed over. The girls born in states which allowed birth certificate change will only have an advantage if "original" was replaced instead of amended.
I'm not planning on traveling out of the U.S. Thus it won't really affect me now even if I lose the passport. Unless he forces the VA to do the same and cancel me out there also. Gotta go pretty deep to revoke my court ordered name change and gender marker although Trump and Gov Stitt seem to be on a vendetta to erase transgender from society? I'm in good company. Romans fed Christians to the lions or nailed them to the cross.
Turks tried genocide on the Armenians. Hitler tried genocide on Jews.
Little known fact Hitler also tried to erase transgender along with Gays and Lesbians.
God gave me this gift. I wish all those who are trans could understand it is a gift. Not makes us special or better than anyone else but different. The same as intersex, chimera, and all who weren't born perfect females or perfect males. Some part of humanity always seems to have a need to hate others since Cain slew Able, possible before then.
This is from my psychiatrist
" All of this work to push back on the documents that allow transgender people to move freely around the world and country as themselves is a huge problem. It gives license for bad actors to treat transgender people as lesser-than - because our government is treating them as lesser-than."

I love all of you, please be careful and take care. Don't poke the hornets nest. Give this a chance to pass.

Thanks for the advice
I was born in Oklahoma, so I’m stuck as far as the birth Certificate goes. But I got the name and gender change this year and fixed my Social Security card, Drivers license and Air Force ID. And the DL is a Real ID.
I’m waffling about applying for a passport.
But I feel much safer traveling to Oklahoma to visit my sisters now.
Fortunately, they are both accepting.

Driver's License
If Gov Stitt revokes our driver's license there is an alternative. Colorado accepts trans. I believe a PO Box for a Colorado address will work. It use to be an issue back in the dark ages having another state license other than one is living in. I turned my Michigan license in when I stopped working there..Not a big deal in today's mobile society.

Sometimes I am really glad I
Sometimes I am really glad I live in Washington and was born in California, as they have pretty strong state protections for Trans rights. Hopefully, when I finally change my legal name and birth gender, I will be able to do it when I want to. Though if I see that changing, I might have to get the ball rolling sooner than I am ready to protect my identity and gender.
I have only come out and started to transition about 5 months ago, and have only told my close friends and immediate family. I am lucky so far; I have not lost any friends, but I have had plenty of family drama over this. And I haven't even figured out how to tell my work yet.
Thank you, Barbie, for looking out for our rights, and hopefully cooler and less transphobic heads will prevail.
