LOL! I really love the relationship Greg/Sadie has. I think they were very compatible before but the link they share sped things up as well as bringing them a closeness that's remarkable.

It would be sooooo cool to have an Arcee Motorcycle! Or some of the abilities that those three have!
I have to wonder how things are going to take place with Arcee following the Semi Tractor and trailer? With the partial lack of communication it could become dicy since the thieves have machine guns I would think!?

Ok, the baddies have assault rifles, either AK's (74's or 101's if they're spending the money on them 47's if they're being cheap SOB's), F2000's if they're using something compact and if they're bought something that fell off a National Guard deuce the good old M4's. All of these weapons have single shot, semi automatic and short burst automatic settings. The AK's and M4's can be modified to carry grenade launchers.
And as always, I hate cliffhangers but like the story. Just wish it could be longer and come in weekly installments.....
In the meantime I guess we'll just have to stay tuned for the next exciting chapter

Little worry
Would not think Greg has anything to worry about with the guns the thieves have, way below the level needed to harm him. Hector and Michelle have more to worry about, but I believe each of them has advanced healing with Hector having the greatest regeneration. Easiest approach would be for Greg to disable the van with either a series of flats. Seems Wheelie could give them some Ops on things around him and what he sees of their belongings in his sight without giving himself away.

It reads much better than the draft version that you let me have a peek at a couple of weeks ago. Sorry I wasn't able to send you any comments before now as I lost my internet service and only got it back today. I hope to get a chance to re-read the finial chapters and send you my comments later this evening or tomorrow. I really like your story ideas and how you develop the plot lines and the interesting characters that you manage to come up with. Keep up the good work Sleethr.

Opps, I mean More Then Meets the Eye.
and as much fun as the chapter was you should watch out for generalizations like, "If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it’s a duck", in a story with a MAU in it. Some one could possibly become More then they appear to be, ie 'MORE THEN MEETS THE EYE'. And I want my human intelligence reflected if I become a water fowl in body only.
