Kelly and Larry have come a ways...
...and as nice as the dresses will be. Sunday there will be a wisdom that helps bring a unifying spirit that will be far more beautiful. It is something that Kelly too is growing in her own spirit. It is good that she trusts herself and senses her father will do well in receiving their news.
This chapter was especially beautiful at many levels.

Kelly is confident her father will be okay with Tom and Amy becoming the child's godparents, because of what Amy did to help him. Might he not be okay with the choice of godparents? Why would it really mater, it's Larry and Kelly's decision?
Naainish words were as cryptic as usual, but Kai understood them. Might they listen to Kai because of what she has done so far? Might the real winner, Tohoma, be accepted as chief?
And might there be something else which occurs that is being kept very close to the vest? Least Kai and Amy discover it?
Others have feelings too.

Holy smokes. I've completed another 30 chapters today. I think I now know what addiction is. The first read was impatiently waiting for each chapter, second read was 5 to 10 chapters a day and now 30 chapters today and still going.
