Hello! I am a few chapters into a story, and I'm really struggling with it. I'm new to writing, and I've spent so much time writing this one story that I've lost the ability to look at it objectively, so I've come to ask for an outside perspective. I would really appreciate honest feedback!
Title: A Graceful Decent into Petticoats (Title is WIP)
Synopsis: Leonard Stephenson is an ambitious young man in a world that is dominated by powerful social hierarchies. Despite the fact that he was not born to a wealthy family, Leo manages to make a name for himself as a clerk at the National Bank. Just when he is on the verge of receiving a promotion that would propel him and his wife to the upper class, the bank is robbed and all the evidence is conspicuously pointed at Leo. Unfortunately for Leo, the criminal justice system of his world has unconventional methods of reforming criminals that will give Leo a new found appreciation for the life of a domestic servant.

Your story
The core of the idea in your story is valid, and you have written it well apart from a few typos. There are certainly a good many pages left to write to complete it.
What is it that you are actually wanting?

Thank you for the feedback
Thank you for your input. I'm really just looking for outside thoughts to see if the story made sense and the pacing was good and similar things. I'm a pretty slow writer so I want to make sure I don't get to far in if there are major issues in the story.
