This is a pretty basic recipe really. The first thing you need is plain white bread dough, these are rolls and not cinnamon swirls which are made from a biscuit base.

I'm going to assume If you're cooking you can made bread dough. If you cannot you can find lots of recipes on the net. Or you can buy uncooked dough at any bakery. I have done this to cheat when I had to make 600 of these things.

Okay! You need a rolling pin.

A pizza cutter or a really good sharp knife.

Several baking sheet pans or any pan you wish to use.

I have lost a notebook filled with many story ideas, as well as notes on some that I have started working on. Some I had hoped to finish and post here. But nooooooo. Someone had to take it last night while I was asleep. But that’s not all they took. They took my car that it was in.

Hello.

For all the followers of EAFOAB, I just thought you would like to know that one council is taking the dormouse situation seriously, no matter what the cost

Here’s the link:

Whilst I am glad it’s not on my council bill, I do hope the first dormouse to use it has undergone a council Health and Safety check.

Superheroes: A Warning

Interesting podcast from The Guardian

The portion on Superheroes starts at 27:20

Her thesis is that the film versions of superhero characters are typically hypermasculinised in comparison to the stories portrayed in the comics the characters are drawn from, and reduces the acceptable story arcs to a handful of "movie versions."

Came by to look for the latest chapter of Wendy Pilgrim by Nancy Cole and all of Nancy's stuff is deleted again. Did someone leave a comment better left unsaid? I am disappointed that another author has left. I really wanted to find out who the Colonel was and how the story turned out.

I don't comment very often because I have a hard time putting thoughts into words and don't like just saying great story. The Kudos button is a good idea.

Hello Everyone,

This evening I was shocked to learn that this site was "Banned" from the "Network" Presumably that was Bellsouth.net, which is my ISP. The notice appeared on a page that had the logos of OPEN-DNS. It stated the blockage was due to Big Closet being classified as having nudity, pornography and sexually explicit material. If they are so open, why are they doing this?

What are these boxes that have appeared on the stories? Good or Great Story or variations of such. They appear to be hyperlinks but when I hover on them nothing comes up in my browser at the bottom where links are normally ID'd. I may be paranoid but I don't click on anything if I don't know where it wants to take me. Managed to avoid a lot of crap that way.

Big Closet Membership Benefits

We've all heard about what happens when you join the Hatbox, the site continues, thousands of people are transported to various and sundry states of bliss — the exact nature of which is a matter of personal preference — all of which is a very good thing, but a little abstract for some people. They might reasonably ask themselves, "What's in it for ME!"

It's a perfectly rational economic question, so here's part of the answer:

Commenting on your own stories… I have noticed that a number of authors on this site have started replying to every readers comment on a story with a comment of their own. Since we can no longer vote for stories, this tends to give a totally misleading impression of the popularity of a story. For example I see a story with 20 votes and think "this might be good," and browse the comments, only to find that ten out of twenty have been posted by the author. This is a misleading practice, somewhat akin to a politician repeatedly voting for him/herself. I have heard from many authors who don't do this that they regard these "reply-comments" as cheating.

I do not remember my dreams... when I wake up its almost as if no time has gone by but I feel strangely refreshed and almost able to face the day ... after 9 more minutes... or maybe 18.

I'm curious, does anyone else either not dream or have dreams that they can't remember?

The closest I've ever come to remembering a dream is a feeling of anxiousness that seemed to follow me all day. I do not have night time 'wet dreams' (that I can remember).

Please share... do you dream?

Nobody.

Thanks everyone.

Gay Marriage

The recent victory against in the California Superior Court shouldn't be taken for more than what it is, since it's only a regional court, but it's also not trivial. Judge Walker laid out the issues fairly carefully, and the conservative half of the US Supreme Court -- where the case is undoubtedly headed -- has a particular problem in that the case was framed very carefully to draw parallels with the laws prohibiting miscegenation (the mixing of races) that existed in many regions of the USA prior to 1967, when Loving vs.

Have recently been thinking back to a time as a child when I had a pet cat and came up with a name that was out of the ordinary.

My mother had bought me a Burmese Brown kitten when I was 13, I remember mum asking what name I wanted to name my him - with perfect clarity and some pride - I named him SPLINTERS !

Well this got me thinking ( all 99.99 per cent ) about another very obvious cat name .... PUSSY ! - Well can you imagine calling out at the top of your voice in a crowded neighbourhood .... Come hear Pussy or worse Pussy Pussy where are you !

But...
I wrote in it a scene that relays or tries to the character Jenna going back to God and reviving her faith. The character Jenna grew up within a mixed faith home with a very Catholic Quebec born and raised mother and a step-father who was a deeply conservative Christian. This is just part of the character and part of trying to get the flavor of her down in a way that I feel fits her.

A story idea if any author wants to use ...

I have long enjoyed reading the many good stories on BCTS which involve magic, mystery and intrigue.

On occasion I get some good story ideas, yet lack the skill ( my opinion ) to write a good tale. I guess my style is more akin to writing an operating manual for a Bull-dozer.

To this end I have had an idea for a story where I would welcome any authors to run with the concept below:-

1. A young man is seen whilst on vacation in a European city such as Paris, Berlin, Munich etc.

Her goal after being informed of having the cancer was to live long enough to see our youngest grandson, Deacon (age 3 on 1 Aug 10); get on his first school bus, because she had put all our other grandchildren on theirs.

I recently visited my endocrinologist for a follow-up visit on my thyroid. In going over all the scans and imaging they've done on it he told me there was one small spot that he wasn't really sure of that was of a minor concern and would like to do a biopsy on it.

Here in southern Afghanistan, I often ask the soldiers what they think about the things folks are saying about the war back home. The question is usually phrased as a simple, "Does the American public get it?"

Haven't been on BC much lately, too much turmoil in my life. Lost my job and have been preparing to move so I might get one doing basic factory labor for less than half what I'm used to making I don't mind working, but my health issues have been none too stable for the last year, and this isn't going to help. And the move also means closing up my house (MY house, bought and paid for!) and moving in with my brother, so I'm losing a significant amount of personal freedom as well.

I have recently been considering Animation where characters are drawn with feminine characteristics, I noticed that with Ed, Edd n' Eddy one of three may have been drawn with a feminine bias, its subtle and I think it was done as a teaser.

I wonder what would happen in real life if one developed animated feminine characteristics and as a result looked cartoonish!

My world is beyond imagination when I know my femme side. I love what comes out of me. yes I am not afraid but I need a push and big sister. I love my sexy side just wish that I had gone all the way twenty years ago. Every part of me know my arousal to all senses when I am en femme and I touch my nipplesand explode with joy. My next play is to give in to desire and give up reluctance. Maybe a public outing.. Can anyone relate??

Arthurs Round Table Identified?

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/7883874/Historians-locate-Ki...

Historians claim to have identified the site of the Round Table of King Arthur, at a site near Chester. A recently uncovered collesium like structure is believed the be the fabled location. It could seat about 1,000 people, nobles and retainers mostly, and would have been an assembly area for preparing for war. Thought it was interesting since there has been some interest in Ancient Briton and associated areas.

BOSTON — The federal law banning gay marriage is unconstitutional because it interferes with the right of a state to define the institution and therefore denies married gay couples some federal benefits, a federal judge ruled Thursday in Boston.
