Unconventional Paragraphs
Didn't check the first one, but in Laura's New Life, the conversations that make up most of the first three pages don't include quotation marks or paragraph breaks. Entire conversations between two or more speakers are all crowded into the same long paragraph. I apologize to the author, but I'm not ready to go through a novel-length story that way.
