As you may or may not know, for about the last year I've 'punctuated' my stories with AI-generated images of my characters that I've uploaded to my deviantart page- https://www.deviantart.com/debsxxxx . I reckon I've 'created' about 150 different characters- including characters from stories not yet released, that number's up to over 200.

As you may also know, I was very close friends with an author named Kris Traverse from 2016 up to her extremely untimely death in 2018. Kris's story 'Alexa,' for better or worse, was entwined with my own stories. Up until now, though, I haven't uploaded any images of her characters to my gallery.

Tomorrow, that changes.

I picked September 15th for this particular 'launch' as in-universe, it's 'Jexy Day,' the mid-point between Alexa and Jenny's birthdays, so I thought it would be the ideal time for it. I should point out, though, that the images I'll be uploading won't be my own mental images of the characters- they'll be Kris's.

We exchanged extensive private messages over the two years (about 12MB worth in plain text), and I was going through them the other day when I happened to stumble across the exact message that had Kris's mental images for the characters written out in full. In her own words, Alexa is based on Anna Kendrick while Jenny is a cross between Jennifer Aniston and Kate Upton. Katie (the third member of her trio of main characters) is based on a family friend of hers, and there I have had to (obviously) take a few liberties- though when the image popped out of the generator my reaction was so instantly 'yes' it felt wrong to exclude her from the upload. Hopefully I've done her characters justice. :-) I may not believe in God, but I still believe in her, regardless of where she is right now.

Though as always, your own mental image of any character takes precedence over any image I or anyone else might generate. :-)
