TopShelf TG Fiction in the BigCloset!
I don't know what's occurring here, but I logged in hrtr to check for comments, and my last three submissions had all been wiped (Routes 58, Perspective 4, In the Green 16)
I've reloaded the stories, but this seems odd. Also wiped was everything between the title and the story body, such as 'author', but it left in place everything below that.
How odd.

Checked a couple of new stories by other authors. Same thing.

We had a lot of bot traffic and the database handler got out of sync.

But 400,000 hits in an hour is its own level of annoying. The really malicious ones can be 5 or 10 times that many.

400,000 hits in an hour
400,000 hits in an hour reminds me of the web spiders in the bad old days of the early search engines. It has been many years since I maintained a web site to that level of... responsibility. Where I cared about the hardware and the amount of bot traffic and all. And the server would have died under that level of load, since computers were less powerful back then, but it never would have happened. The most was a spider downloaded everything on the site, and my site didn't have nearly that much stuff. Unless there was a denial-of-service attack, but I didn't have anything interesting enough for someone to bother.
Of course, I didn't maintain a site like BigCloset, which has more content and possible interest for people to DOS. Even here, though, do we have 400,000 pages to hit? Every story, blog post, author page, and attachment.
But thanks for doing it and restoring whatever broke.

I am hearing rumours that there are a number of new films in the WB pipeline: Gabby, Dancing To A New Bot, Easy As Falling Off A Bot and Bot's Vagina, all by a prolific new author, A.I. Bot.
