For all we know the vambraces could have been booby-trapped aganist anyone else but their holder at the time, Artemis that is. Then again, it was kinda short notice for all parties involved.

I think that there are some people (ie Cassie) who will be immune to the psychic's effects.
You know, with all the brainwashed chicks at the school, I'm a little surprised that the psychic didn't twig to it ahead of time. With that said, I'm not terribly impressed with Mr. Mentalist.

Of course, the girls almost certainly won't remember this fight once the Ambrosia and Nectar wear off - Cassie's got to achieve the tricky feat of preventing them from hurting her or wrecking the place too much, while simultaneously not inflicting significant quantities of pain on them since they're not in control of their actions. Finding Antiope / Vanessa will be the key, as well as dealing with Circe or whoever else A/V's in league with...
