So does Grex have... Dare I say it?... Feelings for our protagonist?
This could turn out to have a very interesting plot indeed! Is it possible for there to be a relationship between a demon and a human?

I still have doubts about her remaining truly human anymore.. remember Grexy-boy had free reign on the transformation of her body. I'm betting he created his "Queen". though i could be wrong of course :)

General reply to comments made about RiH 14.
I never once said Maeve was still human.
Grex is a demon, Maeve's family was a means to an end. does he feel regret about Maeve's mother? Hell no... she proved herself unworthy. Maeve on the other hand, has an ironclad contract that precludes her from being screwed over directly by Grex.
To put it bluntly, Grex can't directly harm her in any way, through action or inaction. He respects Maeve for the contract she struck, even while under the effects of his loophole.
As for any further feelings, well, let's just say chapter 14 will be the last filler chapter for awhile - the plot starts to resolve from here on out.

Profoundly boring. No cute clothing sales, and mostly unattractive guys.
Did you know that certain frogs can spontaneously change gender? Do frogs have balls? I have never seen them.
If I could change gender with ease, I would be 5'0" cutie until some man messed with me in parking lot. Then I would change to 250lb 6'5" monster !

Though he is a demon he is an upper tier of Hell demon and thus more humanlike.
I got the impression though he did not like the original male version of Snow's mom he feels a trace of guilt over her slow decent to all but madness.
Does he feel guilty for using that nasty offspring loophole in her mom's bargain to sabotage his original bargain with Grex and thus his being tricked into becoming Snow?
He had her over a metaphysical barrel yet has mostly let Snow off the hook. He has been far more honest than he need be to meet the letter of their bargain. And even in summoning him now she needs no bloodletting nor exert her self to maintain it unlike most other summoners. Why?
Look at what she said about how many times he saved her life even without her ordering him to.
And for the most part he has been honest with Snow, post *bargaining*>
So is he simply concerned for her like an uncle?
Does he have plans for a part human part demon Queen, the queen he *serves* in his level of Hell but who has yet to exist? IE Snow is to become that prophesized ruler?
Or is he through the bargain with Snow's mom and now Snow becoming more human than he would admit and has desires for Snow? Does he subconsciously want her as his lover?
Hum?
And what of Stumpy and his disgruntled looking Succubus demon?
But then it is her own fault if tin tricking the jerk in their bargain his price was to lose most of his... you know what.
Nice to see more of this.
