seriously, I love to tell stories and write and i have the next 2 chapters (thank you Monica Rose) planned out. But seriously the hardest part for me is to actually sit down and write. Getting what's in my head onto paper (digital or otherwise) is such a huge pain.

It's the same for me. I feel like I know enough of the story to begin but I have this automatic response of disgust at my own words. I know that I can always edit it later and it isn't expected to even be decent on the first draft but I still can't get past that initial response. The feeling is similar to having to remove a clog from the drain with your bare fingers.

I wish I had advice to give.

Sitting down to write requires some of us to go through a whole "nest making" ritual and when it is done, only then can we settle down to put word to paper. I am sure that when you find your exact spot you will write. :)

Writing Is The Easy Bit

Not thinking an hour or two later 'that is the most puerile rubbish I've ever had the misfortune to see on a laptop screen'

Not remembering 'hang on a sec, I used that phrase in a previous story...and that one as well'

Not coming to a complete dead end after three or four hours and realising you really have no idea where this tale is heading - and worse still, you don't care

Those are the things I need to prioritise.

Ban nothing. Question everything.

I myself suffer from this problem. My only suggestions for you are:
1) Find a motivation, in my case it's my debts
2) Blast through loud music, so that you don't spend too long sitting in your own thoughts, in my case, it's a bunch of vocaloid songs https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLa8i-bXdv-UMy3d8HmJ3m...
3) Caffeine helps you focus

Since you already thought of the stories, you only need to write it and for that you only need focus and motivation
