ITV commissions new mini drama, Butterfly, starring Anna Friel
Page does not exist.
I get a 404 when clicking on the link.
There was a lot in the press back in June but I get the feeling that it may not be until early 2019 before it is shown.
It might be a bit to risque for ITV-1's advertisers so it might appear on ITV-4.

The lastest information I read was that the series was being shot over the summer and there was no release date.
If it was shot over the summer then three months for editing is not unreasonable.
We shall just have to wait.

Right off the bat it says they FILMED IN JANUARY. The link also states it's airing in late 2018 which would be November or December allowing for eight months of editing and reshoots. The Express, Sun, and other sources say that it wrapped up production in MARCH and that it's expected to air at any time. The network has already confirmed that it's airing, just not when. It can air at any point in the next two months, they just haven't released a firm date yet.

Trailers
As I follow the cycling on ITV4 - La Vuelta followed by Tour of Britian every night this week! - there have been trailers for this for a while now, along with other "New season" dramas. The fact that it has been trailed means that it will be shown sometime before Christmas.
Of course, that doesn't mean that it will be shown on ITV1.
Not having seen anything about it, the trailers proved intriguing. You just get a half-second or so before they move onto another drama, repeated 3 or 4 times, and the main character stuck out as ambiguous from the start. I couldn't tell if it was male or female, or what the premise was; or even that it was going to be a trans story.

Other news reports said that they were filming in the Summer. Difficult to say which one is correct? Perhaps both are if enough scenes need to be re-shot.
At the moment, itv.com is not showing it as imminent for broadcast.
