For those that are moving their stories to Amazon I have a request. Please leave a note behind saying that they were removed to post on Amazon. Otherwise it isn't ckearcwgat* has happened. The story may not be coming up due to Internet problems or other reasons. If it is known what happened then it saves time and effort checking back or checking other sites.

I try to support BC authors by buying published stories and I can’t do so if I don’t know of a story’s publication.

I have seen it done by several authors
and did so myself. I would have thought it common practice?
There even were particular posts warnig of the last chances to download stories for free before they would be removed. I would have thought that like mine, these removals were because of publishing via Doppler, perhps BCTS could create placehoders for stories that go to Amazon via them? In my case I still see a link in my story list, that points to "What if" and the ad here on Big Closet for the book on Amazon.

Some do, some don't. I happened to run across one that I presume had been pulled to publish but wasn't flagged as such. Hence my blog. Hopefully everybody gets the idea without having to embarrass someone even though it would be in private.

It would seem that a note that a story was pulled for Amazon would serve as an ad and be in authors best interest.
If pulled for other reasons, an explanatory note would still be a nice courtesy.
