Wait. What???
I’m human? Oh my God, that explains so many things! Walking upright, and talking to myself, eating complex carbohydrates and drinking coffee and lounging in a recliner while watching Love Actually. . . . It all makes sense now!!!
The contests I participated in, I dropped my story as early as I could out an irrational fear that someone else was writing the exact same story and I would be scooped. Which . . . is crazy. I know. But wait — I’m human! That explains it all.
That said, I prob’ly won’t be swayed by comments. I might not be that human. :)
