Well if there is a challenge or a prompt similar to what you proposed, I've got a story for it. It's called Sundress & Sunlight. This one is one of my typical stories. A little bit paranormal and a lot superheroine but still fits the parameters that you suggested. It's early but I had fun writing from that prompt.
i have too many novel ideas and not enough time to write them. And editing... are you serious? If I can't find time to write them all, then what do you think I do about editing? Nothing. So I don't have a big audience but I love every one of them just the way they are unconditionally.

P.S. And yes Sundress & Sunlight is a Solo! It meets all the conditions as far as I can tell. I know that folks didn't think I had a short story in me. I keep coming up with these novel by chapter stories. I even tried to post a novel in one post. It didn't work. I took out part of it to fit within the limits that BCTS had for posting length due to the site just not functioning if I tried to go over that limit. Not only have I been writing novels recently, but I also have written several series story bibles for several series of at least 10 novels and maybe 20 more if they were popular. I know lots of writers do way better than me and have followings galore. It seemed like every short story that i wrote turned into another novel. But I guess not this one. And why? Because it is a SOLO!
P.P.S I know that I'm a mess but I'm working on it.
P.P.P.S I remember the times at BCTS that we had challenges and prompts and the writers would produce some amazing stories.
