This one is serious. Like, really serious.
Even if you aren’t in the United States, where this is happening, you should be paying attention. The historical parallels are becoming harder to ignore—and this could become dangerous very quickly.
The Trump administration is moving forward with an increasingly aggressive campaign against transgender people, regardless of the human cost or the opposition it faces. Now its Department of Health and Human Services has released a “report” attempting to associate ordinary transgender affirmation with political violence.
The report is not published in an established academic journal. It does not identify a completed independent peer-review process. It does not track violence, extremism, criminal activity or even an intention to commit violence.
Instead, it tracks people’s opinions.
Researchers asked whether participants agreed with ordinary forms of transgender affirmation—including using chosen names and pronouns, supporting transgender identity and expression, and parents supporting children who are exploring their gender. They then compared those answers with opinions about whether several hypothetical or described acts of political violence could be justified.
The study found a statistical association among answers given in an online survey. It did not establish that transgender affirmation causes violence. It did not show that transgender people or their supporters are more violent. HHS itself acknowledges that the study cannot establish causation and did not measure violent behavior.
Yet the federal government is presenting this as evidence connecting what it calls “radical gender ideology” with authoritarianism and political violence.
Think about what that framing does.
Using someone’s correct pronouns becomes evidence of ideology. Supporting your transgender child becomes suspicious. Recognizing transgender people as human beings becomes associated with extremism. Doctors, parents, teachers, friends and advocates can all be recast as participants in a dangerous movement.
This is how persecution develops: first by turning people into an “ideology,” then portraying that ideology as a threat, and finally treating anyone who supports those people as dangerous.
That is why the historical parallels matter. In 1930s Germany, the Nazis attacked Magnus Hirschfeld’s Institute for Sexual Science, destroyed its archives and burned books containing some of the world’s earliest research on transgender lives and healthcare. They dismantled queer institutions while systematically driving LGBTQ people out of public life.
No, the United States today is not identical to Nazi Germany. History does not repeat itself in precisely the same form. But the sequence—delegitimizing identities, attacking supportive medicine, criminalizing affirmation and portraying a minority as a threat—is disturbingly familiar.
The Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention has already issued repeated Red Flag Alerts concerning anti-trans policies in the United States. Its warning is not that mass extermination is already underway. It is that genocide is a process—and prevention means recognizing the warning signs before persecution reaches its most catastrophic stage.
Please read this one. Please share it beyond transgender spaces. And please do not assume this cannot affect you simply because you live outside the United States.
These movements cross borders. Their language spreads. Their strategies are copied.
What is being tested against transgender Americans today will not necessarily stop with transgender Americans tomorrow.

Hate Is It's Own Fuel
Hate, is self feeding by the very one's who only hear and see the reason for their hate. Any information, data, research, opposing views does not filter past the filters which is supporting their logic they are right and can't possibly be wrong. By his actions, deeds, and decrees, he has shown the full face of hate toward transgender anyone, anything.
If one has been following the things Trump does and the decrees he seems to be writing, I believe in my own opinion, he has lost his mind and is insane. He has hired and fired those around him with clockwork. Kristi Noem and Pam Bondi were ousted by the president. Lori Chavez-DeRemer and Tulsi Gabbard. These were part of the core base of his reelection. Strong women who believed in the Constitution of the United States. They didn't massage Trump on his every decree nor say yes to everything he did or has done. Trump has an ego bigger than the United States and needs it massaged. A Trump ballroom at the WH, Trump arch by the Lincoln Memorial, Trump Reflecting pool, Trump "Kennedy Center". He renamed the Gulf of Mexico, Told Canada to rename and become part of the U.S. Told Norway he was annexing Greenland, the list is endless.
Trump has a mental sickness and there is no amount of medical research, scientific data, proven history will push his thinking back into reality. I believe the Ukraine war and the Iran war has unsettled him even more. He bragged before he was sworn in he could stop the Ukraine war in days. Four years later of Trump holding hands with Putin didn't work out and pushed Trump further into the mental abyss. He planned on the Iran war lasting a week, no longer when he started. Another gear in his mental processes has become unstable. No war fought by any of our presidents and or the senate and house has ever worked out favorably. Politicians are not soldiers and they squander men, resources, and advantages believing in all they need to do is say it, proclaim it, pass a law and it will be. The toilet law and freon laws among thousands of others are perfect examples. Biden's folly with electric independence, solar power, wind generation is another boondoggle. In my opinion, the only thing government has done since the American Revolution is collect taxes and pad their own paychecks. I'll give an okay to Kennedy's Space Program.
Over two thousand pages of research on transgender. We aren't a mistake, we can't be removed by any mortal law decree. Government can try and remove every single one of us. Hitler and others have tried, transgender is built into the human genome, female developed mind in a male facade, male in a female facade. Research done in the Baltic states, Spain, and several nations around the world has proven the brain development. Because it's not open physically like a deformed arm, leg, blindness, deaf, or other visible human things, it is easily to claim it isn't real or is a mental problem. Thus we end up with Trump, and millions like him along with billions who agree with them because it's easy to agree and not think about a situation.
Hugs Piper, think of trans as the virgins sacrificed on the alter or tossed into the pit to appease the gods. It won't help but think of it anyway.

Years back, when Russia invaded Ukraine in this war, I partially overheard talk of a slip of the tongue, saying "Iraq" instead of "Ukraine". I originally thought it was some wag pretending to slip his tongue, but it turned out to be George W. Bush.
